Cirque du Soleil
The reputation of Cirque du Soleil is firmly established. A show to see is Dralion, a combination of eastern and western acrobatic prowess, from Dec. 18-30. As of April 19, 2012, the 32nd creation of Cirque du Soleil, Cirque 2012 (tentative title), is set to debut on the quays of the Old Port of Montreal. Cirque Éloize : Returns Home
The cirque Éloize is back in Montreal for a final series of performances of Rain – comme une pluie dans tes yeux. The troupe will perform at Monument National, from Dec. 6-30. C!RCA : Visitors from Far Away !
As part of the Montréal en lumière festival, the Australian company C!RCA will present its self-titled show. In a performance where dance and circus arts merge, the artists explore the balance of power between man and woman. Dancers and acrobats display their talents to the music of Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead, etc. A must-see creation !
